1. Data controller

The controller of the personal data collected at www.cidif.cl is Forcast, through its Research, Development and Innovation Center (CIDIF), located at Cerro Colorado #5858, Office 202, Las Condes, Santiago, Chile.

2. What data we collect

Contact form: name, email and, optionally, company and phone number, along with the message you write to us.

Feedback button: your email, your comment and the page you sent it from.

Live chat: the messages you type in the chat and any information you choose to share in the conversation, plus the page you are visiting so the team has context.

Technical logs: the IP address and basic data of each request stored by the server, used only for security and to prevent abuse (submission limits).

3. What we use it for

Answer your questions, prepare service proposals and follow up commercially on your request.

Improve the site based on the feedback you send us.

Protect the site and its forms against spam and abuse.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

Messages from the form and from feedback are stored in Forcast's CRM and emailed to the CIDIF team via Brevo, our email delivery provider.

The live chat runs on Chatwoot, hosted on servers managed by Forcast.

We do not share your data with any other third parties unless required by law.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site does not use Google Analytics or advertising or tracking cookies.

The live chat stores a technical cookie to keep your conversation open across pages, and the language selector stores your preferred language. Both are required for these features to work.

6. How long we keep it

We keep contact details for as long as we have a business relationship or an active conversation with you, and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal obligations. Technical logs are deleted periodically.

7. Your rights

Under Law No. 19.628 on the protection of private life, you may request access to, rectification or deletion of, or object to the processing of your data by writing to us at the email address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site's features change. The current version will be published on this page.
